My Method
I try to pack simply and move efficiently to maximize time spent in beautiful situations. By carrying a single camera/lens combo, stashed in running vest, I'm able to experience a breathtaking sunrise/sunset high on a mountain peak, before returning home in time for work. Or by carrying minimal overnight gear in a fastpack bag, I can adventure deep into the backcountry over a weekend and photograph remote landscapes, usually only accessible on a week-long hiking excursion. Less gear allows me to focus on the adventure and capture the story in the moment.
